How long does a website take to build?
A standard business website takes 2–4 weeks from kickoff to launch. Web applications with custom functionality take 6–12 weeks depending on complexity. We give you a firm timeline in writing before you pay — not an estimate that moves.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Your logo and brand colours if you have them, a short description of your business and target audience, any websites you like the look of, and your content (or a brief telling us you need copywriting too). We’ll guide you through the rest in our intake form.
Will my website rank on Google?
We set up everything Google needs on day one — correct page structure, meta data, schema markup, sitemap, and Search Console connection. Ranking takes time regardless of who builds your site, but we ensure there are no technical barriers stopping Google from indexing and ranking you.
Can I update my website myself after launch?
Yes — all WordPress-based sites include a CMS training session. You’ll be able to update text, images, add blog posts, and make basic changes without touching code. For anything more complex, our maintenance plans cover it.
What's the difference between a website and a web app?
A website presents information — about your business, services, portfolio. A web app lets users do something: log in, submit data, make purchases, manage a dashboard. If your project needs user accounts, a database, or real-time interaction, it’s a web app. We build both.
Is hosting included?
Hosting is not included in the build price, but we set it up, configure it, and brief you on what you’re running and why. Hosting remains in your name and under your control — you’re never dependent on us to keep your site live.
